A lot of customers find it hard to get up from their comfortable positions to get a cold refreshment while relaxing at the British seaside.

In the sweltering heat, with over 50,000 people visiting Bournemouth beach, many people have had to line up on a queue for about 20 minutes to get an ice cream.

Ice cream seller Nigel Stephenson, has decided to solve this problem by delivering ice cream cones with a drone, even though he has had some challenges flying these machines.

He recently started experimenting with this method of serving ice cream earlier this year and the drone delivered ice creams have been dubbed 'conecorde'.

"I had time on my hands because of the weather and I started thinking about how people who buy ice creams often worry about leaving their things behind on the beach when they come up to the shop," says Nigel.

"I also noticed the number of people who were using mobile phones. So I thought, why not let them order their ice creams from us via an app, then deliver them directly to where they are on the beach?"

"I've always been someone who loves new toys and gadgets, and drones just seemed like the perfect solution."

Nigel may be receiving professional help from the owner of Kurnia Aerial Photography, a company that has used drones for just about everything, even inspecting sewer pipes.
