Kwabena Appiah is the new MD of State Housing Company

Kwabena Appiah has been appointed as th Managing Director of State Housing Company

Kwabena Appiah has been appointed by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the Managing Director of the State Housing Company Limited (SHC).

Prior to his appointment, Mr Appiah was the USA Manager for the Federal National Mortgage (Fannie Mae) in the United States of America.

The Federal Mortgage Association commonly known as Fannie Mae is a United States government- sponsored enterprise that provides financial products and services that increase the availability and affordability of housing for low, moderate and middle-income Americans.

He brings to the SHC, 8 years of experience from the USA housing market plus 4 years from the UK housing market.

Coming to the SHC which has a similar mandate, Mr Appiah said Ghanaians should expect a world class revamp of the housing market in Ghana.

Accepting his appointment letter from the President, he assured to reduce the housing deficit in Ghana by bringing the SHC back to profitability.
