On this week's Halloween-themed Dancing with the Stars , country singer Lauren Alaina scared judges and audiences alike by revealing that she's been competing in the televised dance show with three hurt ribs, one of which is definitely broken. Unclear about the other two.
She and dance partner Gleb Savchenko did a vampire-themed tango to the tune of "Whatever Lola Wants" by Sarah Vaughan, and after receiving 9/10 from all three judges, scoring a 27 out of 30, Carrie Ann Inaba told Alaina that her core looked strong, which prompted the big reveal.
Host Erin Andrews asked Lauren about her rib injury, and Lauren replied, "I have three."
"On the right side, and then one on the other side," Savchenko added.
When she said my core looked strong I looked straight at Gleb because all I have been trying to do is pretend my ribs arent broken this whole competition, Lauren added. I fractured the one on the left the first week of the show and I havent had these X-rayed, but they dont feel great.
Despite her injuries, Lauren still tied for highest score of the night, making her a fan favorite to take home the Mirror Ball.

Gleb said he was proud of his partner's fighting spirit. Shes so strong. Im so proud that she got through it. We had a tough week and Im really proud of you. You did a great job.
