Jennifer Lopez has been teasing her new film Hustlers, a story about a group of money-savvy strippers, on social media since August. The film, which also stars Crazy Rich Asians Constance Wu, has been drumming up major fan anticipation. Today, J.Lo announced on her Instagram story that she has another powerhouse co-star, Cardi B. The Grammy-winning rapper, who has talked about her former work as a stripper, will be making her big screen debut.
The movie, which J.Lo is also producing, tells the story of a group of ex-strippers who team up to take down their wealthy former clients. Hustlers is inspired by a true New York Magazine article called The Hustlers At Scores that came out in 2015.

Based on the cast alone, this movie is going to be badass. Hustlers will also star Lili Reinhart of Riverdale, KeKe Palmer of Scream Queens, Oscar-winner Mercedes Ruehl of The Fisher King, and Julia Stiles, who will hopefully be reprising some of her Save The Last Dance moves.
Writer-director Lorene Scafaria said shes grateful to have such a powerhouse cast, Im thrilled to have the opportunity to work with this dynamic group of women, she said.
J.Lo has been prepping for the movie by taking pole dancing lessons , as well as keeping up with strength training and the Tracy Anderson Method for cardio. Her fianc and workout buddy A.Rod captured a few videos of her learning some pole moves, and seemed to be pretty excited about her progress. She also embarked on an epic 10-day no-sugar, low-carb challenge back in January to prepare for the role.
Hustlers doesnt have a release date yet, but its coming to theaters soon!
