Actress Sophie Turner never shies away from controversial topics-shes known for being an advocate of the #MeToo movement and equal pay for women. The Game of Thrones actress, whos known for playing the fierce Sansa Stark, even demands that all her contracts have an inclusion rider, which means she can guarantee her jobs have at least a 50 percent women workforce. But recently, Sophie told Harpers Bazaar UK that shes not bothered by costar Kit Harrington, who plays her brother, Jon Snow, making more money than her. Hold upwhat?!
Its unclear exactly how much more money Kit made while working on Game Of Thrones, but Sophie confirmed it was more than her salary. And she explained why it wasnt an issue for her. Apparently talk of her and Kit being paid equally, is a little tricky," she told the magazine. "Kit got more money than me, but he had a bigger storyline," she said. "And for the last series, he had something crazy like 70 night shoots, and I didn't have that many.
She makes a fair point. I was like, 'You know what... you keep that money,'" she said.

What she is concerned about? That these equal pay conversations are happening at all. She noted that more people are opening up about their pay and executives are "more willing to listen to people saying, 'I want the same amount of money.' So things are getting done, but it will take a while, I think.
