Does it ever feel like your Instagram feed is an endless barrage of selfies? Eva Mendes feels your pain. The Women's Health May 2019 cover star posted a no-makeup-look selfie to Instagram on Sunday with the ultimate relatable caption.

"I just cant do it. I just cant seriously take a selfie," Eva stated in the caption. "So for those whove asked, here you go and Im sorry. And for the others who never asked for this, Im sorry too. #NoFilterNoPersonality "

In the selfie, Eva's making a serious face toward the camera, clearly not jumping on the selfie train. But her followers disagree with the actress's Insta assessment. "I beg to differ. No filter...ALL personality!" one wrote. Another added: "Youre so real and so beautiful! Love it!"

The actress definitely looks both real and beautiful. Her clear skin is all glow, and I love to see her freckles poking through. Part of her radiance could have something to do with Eva working out three times a week with her trainer Johana Spates, switching between strength training and cardio.

That's because exercise can actually detox your pores-think of sweating like the steam portion of a facial. "It dilates pores and pushes out bacteria and oil," says Elizabeth Hale , MD, a clinical associate professor of dermatology at NYU Langone Medical Center.

Plus, when you're more active, it reduces stress and lowers your levels of cortisol (the hormone that spikes when you're feeling tired or overworked). When your cortisol levels are out of whack, it can lead to an overproduction of oils, says Dr. Hale. Basically, the more you sweat, the clearer your skin.

Im envious of women who enjoy working out, because I have the worst attitude about it, Eva admitted to Women's Health. My vanity gets me to the gym-and obviously health reasons-but Im kicking and screaming the whole way through. Hey, if exercising helped get me that glow, I'd keep going back, too.
