Kicking off this week's pimple-popping programming is a satisfying squeeze that packs a whole lot of a pus...and a surprise.
In her latest Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper (a.k.a. Sandra Lee, MD) gets right to work on a steatocystoma that's camping out on her patient's back. At the beginning of the masterpiece, a nearby boulder of a blackhead steals the showafter all it's so big you can't help but assume Dr. Pimple Popper is going to take a whack at it. But to many followers' dismay (one commenter said, "dont leave a girl not fully satisfied by not getting that big olblackhead beside it! "), the derm quickly turns her attention to a nearby lumpy area.

While it may not look like anything to the naked eye, Dr. Pimple Popper assures the patient (and all of the viewers) that it is in fact a steatocystoma. Quick reminder: A steatocystoma is often a benign cyst that can develop in multiples known as steatocystoma multiplex. Made up of an oily, yellowish substance known as sebum, these bumps typically burst open with a buttery gunk that threatens to ruin your breakfast for at least a few hours (if not days).
Using her handy scalpel, Dr. Pimple Popper gently slices through the skin to create a tiny incision through which a little bit of liquid starts to seep out. As the derm squeezes the chunk of skin between her thumb and index finger even harder, chunks of yellow-y pus pour out in such a satisfying stream that even Dr. Pimple Popper says, "that was a good one!"
"I feel like he's the Clark Kent of steatocystomas," she adds.
Dr. Pimple Popper then calls on her tweezers to try to pull out whatever goop is hanging out beneath (*fingers crossed there's more*) only to find a...wait, is that a bird? Is it a plane? No it's a hair! That's right.
Along with a few little nuggets of gunk, Dr. Pimple Popper tweezes out a super long black hair that makes this squishy sitch that much more satisfying. Now that was definitely, in the wise words of Dr. Pimple Popper's caption, "good to the last POP! "
