Each week, the competition heats up on World of Dance (and not just because J.Lo keeps outdoing herself with outfits that are straight fire). Season 3 has seen no shortage of talented contestants, but not everyone can make The Cut.
By this point, you've seen tons of talented dancers representing so many different styles, and you're probably struggling to keep track of them all (tbh, same). Don't worry-here's your cheat sheet for every single World of Dance contestant that has gone home so far.
Trilogy
With seemingly effortless lifts, twists, and turns, this teenage trio delivered beautiful dancing to beautiful music-but, because it was a duel, judge Neo thought their performance lacked clarity. It just wasn't enough to make it through to the next round, losing out to hip hop duo Julian and Charlize.
Audrey and Mia
This female duo stepped up their game with a toy-themed trump routine full of sharp hits and even sharper burns directed at their opponents, contemporary sisters Ellie and Ava. Still, it wasn't enough to win their duel or snag a spot in the Redemption Round (whomp whomp).
Aydin Eyikan
At just 15 years old, this contemporary soloist came to battle with a passionate performance that was all about dramatic turns (including one out of a d*mn handstand!) and daring leaps. Despite his impressive technique, he lost in the Duels to contemporary foursome, Moving 4ward.
House of Tap
While this female duo's hip hop-infused tap routine featured an a cappella section that showed off their perfectly in-sync sounds, they lost their duel to contemporary dancer Lauren Yakima. Making it to Redemption Round, they again delivered an intense performance, but again lost to acro-contemporary ballerina Kayla Mak.
West Springfield Dance
This high school girl group brought intricate costumes and tons of whacky-scary energy to their clown-themed dance, but still came up short in their duel against pint-sized powerhouses, the Crazy 8's.
Battle Droids
The b-boys from Belgium impressed the World of Dance judges with their tricks during the qualifiers, but they didn't step up their game enough in the duels to beat fellow junior team VPeepz.
Intention
After winning the judges over with their contemporary performance to Billy Joel's "Piano Man," this all-female junior team's routine fell flat in the Duels round. They ended up losing to Get Down District's high-energy waacking.
MKAM
After losing their duel to Elektro Crew, all-male hiphop team MKAM still scored high enough to qualify for the Redemption Round. But unfortunately, second time wasn't the charm, since they again lost to Dancetown Divas. Womp womp.
Tobias & The EZTwins
In the first upset of the Duels, this jazzy hiphop trio thought they had the competition in the bag, but were sent home by the D'Angelo brothers, a tap duo from Italy.
DD Flection
This contemporary duo won World of Dance Thailand, but ended up losing to their dance idol, Poppin' John, in the duels. Not the worst way to go, tbh.
Derek Piquette
He impressed the judges with his flexibility and acrobatics in the Qualifiers, but lost to athletic contemporary duo Derion and Madison in the Duels. Unfortunately, it was Derek's last opportunity to dance, since he has to go through a double hip replacement this year. (I'm not crying, you're crying.)
Denise and Josh
This contemporary duo lost their duel to same-sex salsa dancers Jonathon y Jorge, but scored high enough to make it to the Redemption Round. But victory just wasn't in the cards since they lost again to contemporary dancer Briar Nolet.
Who will go home this week? Only time will tell...
