So says Chris Hemsworths Thor as he and the rest of the Avengers first meet Captain Marvel in the ominous new Endgame trailer, which dropped Thursday morning.
The new teaser is the first to include Brie Larsons Captain Marvel, and comes days after the latest Marvel Comics Universe offering put up at the box office last weekend.
Larson doesnt show up until the very end of the Avengers: Endgame trailer, staring down Hemsworths character as he summons his battle axe, Jarnborn-seemingly to remind Captain Marvel, the most powerful hero in the MCU, that hes no ordinary superhero, either.
The rest of the trailer is mostly retread of our into Avengers 4, with the whole crew weathered and worn from their battle against Thanos in Infinity War. But where the first Endgame trailer was pretty depressing-Chris Evans has already gotten the meme treatment-this latest teaser finds our heroes gearing up for their last-chance fight to stop Thanos from destroying the universe, with various characters vowing to do whatever it takes to save the world.
Based on the gear we see the likes of Captain America, Black Widow, and War Machine donning in the trailer Thursday, it appears that fight is going to take them to space. The trailer also puts Nebula and Ant-Man front and center, seemingly confirming that the two will play huge roles in Endgame. Of course, based on how careful MCU has been not to give too much away in these trailers, that all could be misdirection. We wont know for sure until it hits theaters next month.
Marvel also released the official poster Endgame poster on Thursday, which also includes Captain Marvel, aka Carol Danvers.
