Offerman's new role on Devs will see him depart from comedy, and he plays Forest, CEO of quantum computing company Amaya . And while it sounds pretty straightforward, expect intrigue, drama, and even a possible murder.

How did Nick Offerman meet Megan Mullally?
Offerman and Mullally met in Los Angeles in 2000 while they were both acting in a play called The Berlin Circle, and the couple both told Buzzfeed that they had an instant connection to each other.
Mullally explained, "I think we were the only two non-company members. It was our first time working with that theater company. We had a lot of scenes together, and I started thinking, 'Wait a minute, he's funny.' And then I started thinking, 'Wait a minute, is he cute?' What's happening?"
Offerman added, "I remember thinking, 'Wait a minute, is she a fucking genius? Wait a minute, is she looking at me? Grrrrr! She good-lookin.'"
Mullally was 41 at the time, and she assumed that Offerman was in his late 30s. However, he was actually just 29, and she told GQ that was she was upset when she found out his real age: "I thought he looked old! And he was mature, so when I found out he was 29, I said these two words: You motherf*****. And I almost ran my car off the road."
They started dating soon after that, and Offerman actually appeared in a guest role on Will & Grace in 2001.
When did Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally get married?
Offerman and Mullally stunned fans (and their friends) when they threw a surprise wedding in September 2003, about 18 months after they started dating. Their wedding was actually the day before Emmys, so their 20 guestswhich included Mullally's Will & Grace co-stars Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Debra Messingthought that they were just attending a pre-Emmys party.
At the actual Emmys the next day, Mullally wore the white bustier top and pants that she got married in.
In 2013, Mullally and Offerman participated in an online Q&A for The AV Club , and Offerman said that the two decided to get married because they "fell in love, and before long, we could just tell that we wanted to stay together and make a life together. We wanted to declare to each other and our friends and family that we were in it to win it. Its important to note that it was not the result of any planning on either of our parts. In fact, we were both looking rather in the other direction when we ran smack into it."
Are Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally still married?
Offerman and Mullally are still happily married, and the world is definitely a better place for it. The couple also works together pretty frequently: Offerman made another appearance on the Will & Grace reboot in 2018, while Mullally played Offerman's ex-wife in multiple episodes of Parks and Recreation. They've also appeared together in The Kings of Summer and Smashed, and they performed voice work together in Bobs Burgers and Hotel Transylvania 2. 2014 saw them go on a raunchy live comedy tour together, and in 2018, they released The Greatest Love Story Ever Told , a book about their romance. It soon became a New York Times Bestseller.
The couple told New York Magazine that they have a rule that they can't spend more than two weeks apart, and they say that working and living together isn't a problem for them at all.
"We love working together. If we drive together, if we share a dressing room, we know going into it that were going to get along. Were very domestically compatible," Mullally told USA Today . People often say to us, 'Are you crazy? I can barely stand my spouse at home every day after work, how can you choose to go to work with her?' And we say, 'Well, that sounds really sad for you, because we just like each other.'"
Offerman also opened up about their marriage and work relationship to WBUR , Boston's NPR station. "If I was to do something right now to try and make you laugh, I'm really trying to make her laugh. You know, it's that toolset. And so she is not only my wife and my best friend, but she's my teacher in a lot of ways, she's also just a comedy legend. She's like a walking Mel Brooks movie. And so it's, you know, it'd be silly and masculine of me to not take advantage of the fact that my wife is a champion in the very sport that I try to excel at."

We tried for about a year or so, and it didnt happen, and took that to mean it wasnt meant to be."
