As TMZ reports, Jordan spoke to The Atlantic about Woods. The pair have been friends for a while, and Jordan said that he doesn't know if he would have been able to overcome the physical injuries and personal life issues that Woods did.
"I never thought hed get back physically. He didnt think hed get back physically. But he did it. No one expected him to be back the way he is now. Hes probably the only person who believed he could get back. To me, thats a major accomplishment. To me, its unbelievable," Jordan said.
"He had to change his game; he had to change his perspective a little bit," Jordan continued. "To me, it was the greatest comeback Ive ever seen."
That's quite a compliment.
Woods has also been congratulated by Donald Trump , who said he wants to give the golfer the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Woods is also on this year's list of TIME's 100 Most Influential People . Justin Timberlake wrote Woods' blurb in the issue, and he also called his comeback the greatest in sports history. He wrote about how the pair had shared their experiences with fatherhood.
"We bonded over the fact that we wanted our children to watch us at our best. Tiger told me that he hoped his children, who are 11 and 10, would one day see him win a major," Timberlake wrote.
