While he spent some time mowing his mothers lawn, a sexual predator who was on the run for murder (and weirdly nude in some form or another) drives up and exits his truck, heading towards the group of children who were playing outside.
Being the ever-so brave hero he usually portrays, McConaugheys character chose to take the perpetrators car keys and try to keep him in one place before any authorities could arrive at the scene. Unfortunately, but on-brand with the iconic true crime show, Larrys turn at trying to be a local hero got him shot multiple times and killed.
Although people might not be familiar with McConaugheys first stint in Hollywood, its clear he remembers his time on the seriesand the subsequent arrest made almost two weeks after the episode aired.
