I think hed be a better president than our current president I think I said he was much more qualified and I believe he is. Turning to Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Silicon Valley), who co-stars with Bautista in the new buddy comedy Stuber, Bautista, said, I think I am. I think Kumail is.

This isnt the first time a Rock presidency has come up in the press. An entire GQ profile dealt with the question. And The Rock himself has done little to quash the speculation.

In an interview with IndieWire earlier this year, he said: Im not ruling it out. Im not ruling out the idea if I could make a bigger impact somehow, or potentially surround myself with good people. He went on to say, I saw Kamala Harris speech the other day and thought it was good, he said. Just for me, I lack the experience, I lack a lot of things. Certainly not right now.

Now, if he were a politician, that kind of vague, non-committal statement would mean I AM ABSOLUTELY RUNNING FOR THE PRESIDENCY OF THE UNITED STATES.

So, lets run through a list of qualifications to see if he checks off all the required boxes.

Here are the only three qualifications the Constitution requires:

Natural born citizen of the United States?

Dwayne Douglas Johnson was born in Hayward, California.

Resident for 14 years?

Even his alter-ego The Rock has been a resident of the United States for more than 14 years.

CHECK

35 years or older?

Johnson was born on May 2, 1972 and is 47 years old.
