The first collection with the brand, entitled Nike + R.T. AF1, in 2014 sold out quickly, which featured a reimagined Air Force 1 with bold stripes, gold accents, exaggerated heights in a range of hi-top and low-top styles and luxe  fabric with white leather and faux suede for a high fashion effect.

The self-professed sneaker obsessive is working on the Nike Dunk, a style first from 1985 that is quite popular.

The first image of the sneakers unveils a sleek black leather sneaker with the usual features. And finished off with that signature white Swoosh. There's also, reportedly, a white style with a black or red Swoosh.

According to Tisci, “It’s interesting, because I come from a couture background and I’m the first couturier who is doing a project with Nike, bringing my way of thinking about couture and about fashion.”

Tisci built on NikeLab design innovations introduced last year, which include a full-grain leather upper, Lunarlon insole for durability and comfort, and memory foam for fit, which makes the sneaker active.

Tisci added, “The Nike dunk has a fascinating legacy. It has been both mainstream and niche, adopted by communities of varying size and influence.

The opportunity makes a big statement. I think it’s a dream of any designer’s to be in everybody’s home. The first pair of Dunks I had were white and red,” he says. “I’ve been representing the brand for 25 years. I believe in the roots of the company, and always have.”

The sneaker is priced at $300. Unlike the first version, you’ll be able to get the shoes at Nike retail stores and online.
