Ghanas Art industry has been in existence long before independence. It has seen a lot of phases with the vision of projecting the countrys culture through art. It is with this same aim that Underline Innovation organized the Keteke Arts Fair 2017.
Keteke Arts Fair is a programme designed to give the platform to Artists, Painters, Sculpturers, African Fashion Designers, Photographers to showcase their ingenuity, and art-lovers to feed their cravings for fine art. This year’s event held from the 25th -28th May was the fourth edition, since its inception in the year 2014. It ran with the theme “Arts Dynamics”
It is notable that Keteke Arts Festival 2017 achieved its aim of projecting young talents and experienced members of the Arts Industry. Some of the exhibitors featured in this year’s edition include: Brush Strokes, Addisco Studio, Eddy’s Art, JaspArts, Juels Tintin, The Nana Bruce, K.P Photography, Amet Creations, Awuley of Gava, Aats Hub, C-kle Painting, Amet Creations and many more.
This year’s event attracted individuals, customers at the mall and art-lovers from around country the including the Executive Director of the Tourism Society of Ghana; Mr. Ebenezer Quaye. He expressed his commendation on the event as being the "well organized" Arts Fair and advised that the programme should be organized at least thrice in a year to help promote the Art Industry in Ghana terms of marketing and publicity.
"We wish to express their profound gratitude to Accra Mall Ltd, Live 91.9fm, Homebase TV, Harsh Media , Pink FM, Ghbeep.com, Graphic Showbiz, Pulse Ghana, their support," Mr Ernest Ohene Boadu, Marketing Manager, Underline Innovation said.
"We are also gathering momentum and looking forward to hosting a national art festival and a nationwide tour in the years ahead," he continued.
