Italian duo Fabio Aru and Vincenzo Nibali will lead the Astana challenge at the Tour de France next month.
Vuelta a Espana champion Aru will make his Tour debut, while Nibali, the 2014 winner of the most prestigious Grand Tour race, has also been named in a nine-man team.
Nibali revealed that preparing for the Rio Olympics in August is his priority, so the Giro d'Italia champion will play a support role to his compatriot in the race, which starts at the foot of the Mont-Saint-Michel on July 2.
Aru won a stage in the Criterium du Dauphine this year, but that is the 25-year-old's only success in 2016 and the onus will be on him to make his presence felt.
Jakob Fuglsang, Tanel Kangert, Alexey Lutsenko and Luis Leon Sanchez have also been selected along with Diego Rosa, Andriy Grivko and Paolo Tiralongo.
