Angry church members join residents to throw out pastor's belongings

Pastor of Arising Christian Ministry Church located in Mwingi, a town in the Kitui County of Kenya was on Tuesday, July 17 utterly embarrassed when members of his own congregation joined angry residents of the area to forcibly evict him, by ransacking his residence and throwing his belongings outside.

The man of God was accused of having impregnated a 16-year-old student in August last year, after forcibly having sex with her in his office when the youngster had gone there to clean up the said office.

According to reports, it took a quick intervention by the area police to avert a possible lynching of man of God by the angry residents.

The pastor is alleged to be a serial rapist who reportedly had been evicted from three other areas for similar offences prior to the latest incident.

Brother of his latest victim is quoted as saying: "She was forced to drop out of school because of the pregnancy.”

He added that they resorted to the drastic approach because “our family tried to engage the suspect to cater for the needs of the child but he became hostile and threatened us to stay away from him,” and all attempts to get justice for the victim have proven futile.

Meanwhile, the embattled pastor has debunked all the allegations levelled against him, cursing that all the people involved in the attack on him will die.
