A South African student who could not afford to lose her project work to armed robbers and risk deferring her graduation to the next year, engaged her assailants in what could only be described as a do or die struggle.
The 26-year-old Noxolo Ntusi stubbornly held onto the bag containing her hard drive on which all the relevant information about her project work were saved. She refused to hand it over to the seemingly determined robbers even as they put gun on her head threatening to kill her.

Noxolo Ntusi said after the scary scuffle that, “there’s no way I will let them take it.”
It was not as though, the daring lady was ignorant about the danger in engaging arm wielding robbers in a fight, but the thought of not graduating as planned was what she did not want to accept. She warned other students not to emulate her action, describing it as “not very smart,” saying “you can always write again.”
She added that, “I was thinking about my masters. I’m almost done with what I’m writing, there’s no way I will let them take it.
“I was just pulling myself into a ball. They were trying to put me in the car, I think, but I made myself so heavy that they just gave up.
“I really want to finish so badly, I want to do it now. Nothing got in the way of that, but it was very dangerous."
Security cameras attached to nearby home in the vicinity of Auckland Park recorded a footage of the ‘Noxolo Ntusi vs. robbers’ wrestle.
