A Niger national, Moro is under police surveillance while on Hospital admission after he allegedly butchered her fiancée he accused of stealing his GHc400.

The incident occurred at Danso in Adeiso of the Eastern region.

According to reports, the suspect has a number of children with the victim who told him she was pregnant and wanted money to terminate the pregnancy.

The suspect however reportedly told the victim he did not have the money to abort the pregnancy. Moro later accused the victim of stealing his GHc400. He subsequently committed the alleged act.

Reports are rife that, residents in the area who could not control themselves, also took the law into their own hands and inflicted machete wounds on the suspect. Moro is currently on admission at the hospital and under police surveillance.
