Travis Austin Joy, a 45-year-old Spokane County, Washington state, has been charged with seven counts of first-degree animal cruelty and sent to jail after he found joy in the loins of three dogs and a horse, reports Mirror.
Joy was arrested for allegedly filming seven videos that show him involved in sexual acts with the animals.
His undoing came when a video camera was found by a former roommate after he apparently moved out, and was handed over to animal protection staff.
The Spokane County Sheriff's Office said Joy, a three-time convicted felon, made the videos between October 2012 and February 2014, where he was seen humping on his own dog, plus two others and a horse belonging to friends.
In addition to the animal cruelty charges, Joy has also been charged with an additional two counts of harassment for threatening to kill the people he believed reported him.
During investigation, officers checked background outdoor scenery to determine where they had been shot, and also contacted the owners of animals.
The court was told that after his arrest Joy admitted to a detective that he had recorded himself having sexual contact with the animals and reportedly said he could watch the videos later and not need to repeat the acts.
Travis’ act was discovered after he relocated from his home but forgot his video camera which was later discovered by his old roommate while cleaning and after viewing the content immediately alerted the police leading to his arrest.
