Samira Bawumia, the wife of the Vice President of Ghana, has honoured

The "Still You Reign" hitmaker currently owns a foundation that caters to the needy and helps people reach their full potential in their various fields. And, this has made him been in talks with Samira over how best to develop and empower the youth in the country.

Sonnie was, however, invited by Samira Bawumia and honored with a Doctorate in Divinity for his progressive works.

The multiple award-winning musician was presented with a gold plaque by Samira Bawumia as he was deemed fit for the award following his far-reaching works in the country and on the continent.
