Hiplife group, VVIP, topped the 2017 edition of Ghana Music Honours with two awards out of four nominations. VVIP won the
Shatta Wale on the other hand won the "Best Producer" and "People's Choice" honours.
Other big winners include Kofi Kinaata, Okyeame Kwame, Bola Ray, Bisa Kdei, Joe Mettle, Joe B, among others.
About 20 awards were presented in the various categories among which are Best Band Honour, Best DJ Honour, Afro Pop Artist Honour, Hiplife Artist Honour, Highlife Artist Honour, Gospel Artist Honour, Music Producer Honour, Best Music Video, Most Promising Honour, Best Male Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Group Honour and People’s Choice Awards.
Ghana Music Honours is organised by the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
