Ghanaians have reacted to Kwesi Arthurs loss at the just ended BET Awards.
The "Anthem" hitmaker was nominated for the“Viewers’ Choice: Best New International Act” category alongside Mc Soffia (Brazil), Prince Waly (France), Take A Mic (France), Niniola (Nigeria), Sjava (South Africa), Sik-K (South Korea), Nailah Blackman (Trinidad And Tobago), Not3s (UK) and Iamddb (UK).
Unfortunately, the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards "Hip-hop Song of the Year" award winner lost the accolade to South African recording artiste Sjava.
Reacting to the announcement which was made Sunday, June 24 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, Kwesi Arthur says he hasn't lost anything considering his background.

He took to Twitter a few hours ago to say: "How can I lose when I came from nothing."
Kwesi Arthur received massive support from celebrities and the public when his nomination was announced. The likes of Sarkodie, Joselyn Dumas, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Samira Bawumia threw their weights behind the Ground Up label artiste.
He is the first male Ghanaian artiste to be nominated for the category. The first female to make history was MzVee when she earned a nomination with 5 other African artistes in 2015.
