The list named Burna Boy, Angelique Kidjo, Diamond Platinumz, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Sho Madjozi, Busiswa Gqulu and Mwila Musonda as the top 10 African giants, when it comes to music.
Whilst Nigerians debate over how and why Davido’s name is missing in the list, Ghanaians have been shocked to realize that none of the country’s top acts have even made it to the list. This has sparked mockery and outrage on Ghanaian social media platforms.

Accordingly, Shatta Wale has added his opinion to the discussion but points out the mishap in the Ghanaian music industry and media as the reason why no Ghanaian artiste made it to the list. This he did by mocking his foe, Sarkodie and himself.
Taking to facebook, he wrote “Now Ghana music industry you see how stupid you people are? All you guys care about is people personal lives and not our professional lives (music) ...Now your artiste you paint to people no deh here , me too anode there ...You see how you fool … congrats to these arts ..You just made me proud and me alone I say !!! Any station that discuss this should bow their ugly faces in shame”.
