Singer,Katheryn Elizabeth "Katy" Hudson, stage name, Katy Perry, born in 1984 has released a new single dubbed, "1984" and is alleged to be a revenge song to respond to Taylor Swift's "Bad blood" song on her 1989 album.
Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" song is about a fellow female singer in the music industry who once double-crossed her by trying to poach her backing dancers ahead of a tour.
Taylor added, “For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’”
The "Blank Space" singer never confirmed it was Katy by name, but when the news broke, Katy tweeted: “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing.. referring to the main villain in comedy "Mean Girls" played by Rachel McAdams".
"Roar" hit maker, Katy added, “If somebody is trying to defame my character, you're going to hear about it" and this song is a big dig at Taylor.
