The accident occurred after the car, which had three people inside, veered off the street, breaking through the barricades of the road and ended up in a ditch in Malibu Hills.
A report by TMZ stated that police have confirmed the vehicle belongs to Kevin, but he was not driving at the time of the accident. He had a driver and a third person who is a woman.

The comedian and the driver have been reported to have suffered "major back injuries” but the woman escaped unhurt. An eyewitness told the news portal that the comedian came out of the car and a member of his security team showed up in an SUV and picked him up.
“Kevin lives nearby and cops say he went home "to get medical attention." He was eventually treated at a hospital” the website stated. There has been no statement from the comedian, his family or management yet.
