Violence mars NPP press conference

According to report by Joy FM, some youth stormed the venue of the press conference and started breaking bottles.
 
 

A press conference called by a leading member of the New Patriotic Party at Chorkor ended in chaos with gun shots fired.

A member of the party, Ato Quashie who called the press conference on  recent developments in the party was stopped by the angry youth purported to be supporters of suspended national chairman, Mr Paul Afoko.

According to report by Joy FM, some youth stormed the venue of the press conference and started breaking bottles and fired gunshots.

The youth led by the constituency secretary Henry Bart-Plange destroyed chairs and other facilities.

But the police were swift to intervene to maintain law and order.
