Coach Steve Pollack dropped a bombshell that his Hearts of Oak were handed a dubious penalty kick when his side defeated NEA Salamina 2-1 to progress to thesemi-finals of the 2017 MTN FA Cup.
Saddick Adams broke the deadlock of the game before Obeng Junior restored parity for Salamina.

But referee Nuhu Liman, a Wa based referee awarded a contentious penalty to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in injury time and Amos Frimpong, who stepped forward for the kick slotted it home perfectly to hand Asante Kotoko a 2-1 victory
The head coach of Asante Kotoko Steve Pollack who wasn’t pleased with the performance of his team thinks the Porcupine Warriors were given a dubious penalty.
"I was embarrassed at the penalty. I wanted to win the game but not this way. It wasn't a penalty," Pollack said at the post match press conference.
