A graphic reminder of the Biblical plagues that struck Egypt suddenly appeared on Saturday in Ghana when a stream in called "ATAKPAAME" near King of King's School in Koforidua Zongo has turned in to blood red on Saturday morning morning.
The stream meanders through the town of Nsukwaw before flowing through Nsukwaw river.
Authorities in the community have yet to establish a reason for the river’s unusual appearance but some of the residents are attributing this development to superstitious beliefs they hold.
The police has also initiated an investigation into the bizarre development.
