Ghana cruised to a 1-0 victory over Mali to become the second nation after Senegal to qualify for the knock out stage of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Asamoah Gyan headed home a supply from Jordan Ayew to give Ghana the only goal of the game on Saturday at the Port Gentil Sports Stadium.

TGMA breaks silence on why King Paluta’s 'Makoma' was snubbed

The Telecel Ghana Music Awards Board has clarified the omission of King Paluta’s Makoma from this year’s nominations, stating that only one song per artiste is allowed per category. The decision was based on research showing Aseda had stronger airplay and streaming numbers.
