The Technical Coordinator of the Black Stars led the staff of the team to inspect the NRG Stadium ahead of Ghana Mexico fixture on Thursday dawn.

Stephen Appiah and some other staff of the senior national football team were taken round the facility to inspect its readiness to stage the game.

The game will kick off 1:05 Ghana time.

This will be Kwesi Appiah's second game in charge of the Black Stars after his return as the coach of the team.  His charges walloped Ethiopia 5-0 in his first game in charge which was the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Ghana have lost their two previous encounters against Mexico in 2006 and 2008.

The regular first team of the El Tri are currently in the semi-finals of the FIFA Confederation Cup, so they will present their team B for the Ghana clash.
