The incredible moment a church in Texas issued out free signed bank checks to all its members for onward donation to the needy in society is refreshing.
Preston Meadow Lutheran Church gave out a total of $125,000 (GHS556,125.00) checks with the pay to line left blank.
The blank pay to line was to be filled by the church members with a name or organization of their choice that they think needs help.
Pastor Paul Mussachio who handed out checks said: “In the envelope was either $250, $500 or $1,000, but I didn't tell them that until they sat back down. I didn't tell them that because I wanted to create that anticipation and really let this hit home with them of just how big of a deal this was going to be.

“It's kind of like watching your kids on Christmas morning.
“They were given the encouragement to go out and be a blessing to others.
“You release a lot of control on this. And so it’s left up to them of where it goes.”
According to Fox4news, the money doled out to the church members was actually donated by some apparent members who are well to do.
