ECG Accountant commits suicide

An accountant who works with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) at Suhum in the Eastern Region has committed suicide.

According to reports, Joseph Frimpong Addo killed himself in an uncompleted building by ingesting weedicide, a poisonous material used to kill weeds.

It’s not immediately known what led to the self harming act by the accountant, although some family sources claim his health has been deteriorating which could have motivated his suicide.

His body was found in an uncompleted self contained building with the door to the room he was in barred shut. Police forced it open only to find his lifeless body.
