Reports say the Kentucky Centre for Investigative Reporting had published an account of a woman who claimed that Johnson sexually assaulted her in 2013, when she was 17 years old.

She said she had attended a party at Johnson’s home, but fell asleep on a sofa, only to wake up to see Mr. Johnson kneeling over her, and sexually assaulted her that night.

However, prior to his demise, the deceased resorted to Facebook to debunk the allegations, saying they were “false” and “only GOD knows the truth."
