The NPP sympathiser told Accra-based Joy FM that his reason is to understand grassroots politics and get close to his people.
The musician has been on a war of words with president Nana Akufo-Addo's two deputy chief of staffs.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, A Plus called Abu Jinapor and Francis Asenso-Boakye as "very corrupt" and "stupid."
