Cakes are often part of birthdays.

Former President John Mahama climaxed his birthday with a beautiful cake.

In the photos he shared on his Facebook timeline, his children (Jesse and Farida) and his wife (Mrs Lordina Mahama) helped him to cut the cake.

After helping him cut the former president is photographed feeding his two children some of the cake.

Aside from his family Mahama also had his security personnel singing for him.

Many people took to social media to wish him well.
