A trailer heading towards Accra on the Accra – Nsawam Highway on Thursday, February 9, 2017, veered off the main road onto the outer lane near Mile 7.

Eyewitnesses say the truck hit the back of a mini passenger bus which has also fallen on its side.

The accident has resulted in a heavy gridlock.

Even though the Mile 7 police have confirmed the accident they are yet to find out the number of people injured or otherwise.

They also said they are still gathering the details of the accident.
