President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo has said his patience and believe in the lord has yielded results despite failed successive attempts at the presidency.
Dressed in an all white attire to thank the lord for his grace and favour in securing a landslide victory at the polls, Akufo-Addo noted that without God, his victory would not have been possible.
Addressing thousands of NPP supporters and hundreds across the globe at a praise and thanksgiving service Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, Akufo-Addo noted that the task ahead of him and his team is one they can perform "with the full blessing of the almighty God" coupled with the prayers of Ghanaians and hard work.
Quoting Isaiah 40 verses 31, the president-elect said: "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint."
To this end, he called on his team and likely appointees to renew their strength for the task ahead.

"Let us renew our strength and our faith and get ready for the work ahead," he said. "I have no doubt that with God on our side, we shall succeed."
He continued: "The lord God has promised that in his own time, he make all things beautiful. This is his appointed time and that is why the 'battle is still the lords.'"
