The name of the Presidential Palace will be changed from Flagstaff House to Jubilee House, Presidential spokesperson and Minister-designate for Information has said.
Speaking on Joy FM's Newsfile Saturday, he said the original builders of the palace named it as Jubilee House because of the significance of the year in which it was built.
The palace was put up in 2007 when Ghana was celebrating its Jubilee year by the Indian government.
The then Kufour administration named it Jubilee House but was changed by the Mills administration in 2009.
President Nana Akufo-Addo in the lead up to the 2016 election consistently referred to it as Jubilee House although the official name was Flagstaff House.
