President Nana Akufo-Addo has sworn in all ten regional ministers at the Flagstaff House with a call to provide good leadership.
"You know my resolve," president Akufo-Addo said at the swearing in ceremony. "It is to provide good, honest government for our people which enable our economy to recover and grow rapidly to create jobs especially for our young people, to generate prosperity for the mass of our people in the condition of freedom and responsibility."
The president noted that it is "a tall order" which the "decisive mandate and emphatic mandate" he received from the electorate obliges him to do.
"We have no other choice. I ask for your full cooperation in delivering our mandate. The quality of our relation with who you work with, the civil servants at the Regional Coordinating Council, the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives, and members of the assembly in your region, the regional personnel or public bodies, the chief and traditional rulers in our region and of course the people will determine our ability to succeed.
President Akufo-Addo also urged them to serve with humility, adding that it is the most "important ingredient that will guarantee your success."
