Managing Editor of the Al-hajj Newspaper, Alhaji Bature says businessman and Chief Executive Officer of Engineers and Planners, Ibrahim Mahama believes in the leadership style of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He said the business tycoon believes in Nana Addo as someone who believes in the rule of law and will not witch-hunt him [Ibrahim Mahama].
According Alhaji Bature, Ibrahim Mahama will not defraud the state adding that he will not engage in any fraudulent activity.
His comments comes at the back of Mahama who is at the centre of a headline for allegedly issuing some dud cheques to the Customs division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

He's been investigated by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
This is not the first time EOCO is investigating Ibrahim Mahama.
In February 2017, Ibrahim Mahama and a close associate Ali Seidu, were hauled before EOCO over the corruption scandal that hit the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD).
The two businessmen were summoned as part of a probe into the activities of sacked CEO of the COCOBOD, Dr. Stephen Kwabena Opuni.

However, Alhaji Bature speaking on Accra-based Adom FM said Ibrahim Mahama has not committed any crime.
"This is someone who is lauding the president behind the scenes for his efforts to empower local businesses. He is a proud Ghanaian and will be the last person to engage in acts that will be detrimental to the state.

"His brother was the president but he was full of praise for Nana Addo for promising policies that will empower the local businessman because it appears businesses in Ghana have been taken over by expatriates."
Meanwhile, he has been ordered by EOCO to pay GH¢12.7 million to the state before May 8.
