Hearts of Oak PRO fined GH¢6000 and banned for 24 months

The

Opare Addo was banned from all football activities for a period of 24 months and fined GH¢6000 for his actions.

The decision comes after the Ghana Football Association also finned Addo’s club Hearts of Oak a total of GH¢12000 and banned the Accra-based club to play their next three games behind closed doors.

The Hearts of Oak PRO was charged under Articles 35 and 54 of the GFA disciplinary code book as his comments on the referees were deemed to have incited the club’s supporter for their behaviour at the game against Wa All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.
