A woman is facing emotional torture as her one-and-a-half-year baby Stephen Otchere has been detained at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) over her failure to foot the bills.
The child was admitted to the Burns and Intensive Care Unit on July 8, 2017, and discharged on August 16, 2017.
But he is still at the hospital due to lack of funds to settle the bills.

Principal Nursing Officer of KATH, Madam Theresa Kwaah said the parents owe the hospital to the tune of GHC10,181.00.
But the mother of the baby, Agnes Nkrumah said she is unemployed and cannot afford to service the bills.
She said she has so far spent about GHC2,000 and is pleading with churches, philanthropists, and institutions to assist her.
