Motorists moving into and out of Kasoa have been left stranded for several hours Wednesday morning following a possible gas leakage at Tetegu on the Kasoa road.
According to eyewitnesses, the mini tanker carrying the gas somersaulted in an attempt to manoeuvre to one of the closest filling stations on the road.
The road has been blocked to prevent casualties in case there was an explosion.
The situation has resulted in a heavy vehicular traffic on the Tetegu Kasoa as the police and the fire service try to offload the gas from tanker.
Pulse.com.gh reporter Portia Arthur at the scene says there are about 10 fire officers trying to contain the situation.
According to an eyewitness, the accident happened at about 5:00am. He explained to Pulse.com.gh that "I was praying when I saw the car fell down...When the car fell down, some people came to help the driver and I also went to help but I was afraid".
