Woyome, AG faceoff in oral examination cancelled

The continuation of the examination was cancelled because the sitting judge Justice Ampah Benin is unavailable.

The oral examination of businessman  Alfred Agbesi Woyome which is expected to come off today, Monday, October 2, at the Supreme Court has been cancelled.

Deputy Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame begun an inquiry into how Woyome spent the money and to uncover potential sources of income for the businessman in order to recover more than GH¢51.2M judgement debt due to the State.

According to reports, sitting has been cancelled until normal court sittings resume on October 10.

Justice Ampah Benin is on an interview panel at the Ghana School of Law concerning their admission.

The oral examination of Mr Woyome started on July 24 and was expected to continue today October 2, following the three months legal vacation.
