Fire guts shops at Asawase

The ravaging inferno consumed several of the structures serving as shops in the market as well as other valuables.

According to an eye witness, the fire started around 10pm Sunday November 27 and has affected several shops.

The inferno burnt properties and items worth thousands of cedis.

Fire fighters managed to bring the fire under control according to reports on Monday morning.

The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
