Inter Allies put up a high spirited performance to edge Kumasi Asante Kotoko by a goal to nil at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors were yet to be handed a defeat in the second half of the season prior to entering into the tie against Inter Allies. They had drawn one and won two of their past three outings

Inter Allies who have been impressive in recent weeks got the lone goal in the first half through youngster Abdul Halik Hudu.

Asante Kotoko despite coming into the second half strongly couldn’t fight from the one goal down.

This is not a good results for Asante Kotoko especially entering into their weekend clash against Accra Hearts of Oak in Kumasi.
