Human rights lawyer, Francis-Xavier Sosu, was on Saturday presented with a humanitarian award by the Marshal UK & The Vine Complex Ghana.
The award is conferred on groups and individuals making a positive impact in Ghana and abroad.
The renowned lawyer is currently in court challenging a three-year ban imposed on him by the General Legal Council for touting and breaching regulations on legal fees.

Nevertheless, the lawyer is noted for reaching out to the needy, destitute and the vulnerable in the society and fighting for justice for them.
Background of Francis Sosu
He is a Human Rights and Public Interest Litigation Lawyer. He is actively engaged in Human Rights promotion and Practice in Ghana. Mr Sosu founded the Treasure of Life Foundation, Ghana and USA to reach out to needy, destitute and the vulnerable in the society.
He also founded the Youth For Human Rights, Africa to promote human rights education on fundamental rights and liberties of citizens in Ghana and other African Countries.

The lawyer grew up as a destitute street child, was adopted by Village of Hope, and found God’s grace.
He became a Lawyer through the help of benevolent people.
He chose Public Interest And Human Rights Law to enable him to give back to Society.
