Ghana lose another player to injury

Bismark Terry Owusu picked up an injury and was stretched off in the second half when Ghana defeated Niger 2-0

Paa Kwesi’s charges have suffered from another injury setback after Bismark Terry couldn’t return to the field when he was stretched off.

His place was taken over by John Otu

Bismark Terry Owusu's injury follows Abdul Yussif’s head injury when Ghana lost 0-1 against the USA and he is even yet to return to full fitness.

The extent of Owusu’s injury, however is yet to be determined.

Ghana scored twice in the game against Niger from the spot kick through a 45 minute penalty by Eric Ayiah and a 90 minute blaster from Richard Danso.

The Black Starlets will face another West Africans counterparts in the quarter finals of the tournament.
