Rev Owusu Bempah has said president-elect Nana Akufo-Addo will deliver on his mandate when he assumes office on January 7.

He added that the president-elect will also perform better than Ivory Coast’s President.

For Akufo-Addo to succeed, he asked his congregation to continue to pray for him.

Akufo-Addo cruised to victory in Wednesday's vote by defeating incumbent president John Mahama by close to a million vote.

The Electoral Commission said Akufo-Addo won by 5, 716, 026 (53.85%) while John Dramani Mahama secured 4, 713, 277 (44.40%).
